Construction Engineering Management & Inspection Services (CEI)
Recent Work:
Using our Construction Engineering Managers and Inspectors, system owners and managers have finally found a company that relieves stressful encounters with contractors and engineers. As a “go-between” ESI strategies are simple: knowledge, hard work and communication. Going the extra mile means bringing back service in an industry where service has suffered. By staying informed, asking questions and keeping all parties informed in such way that breaks down the barriers and encourages questions and team efforts. Completing a project on time, within budget and with all interested parties actually enjoying their working relationship, ESI has developed the reputation of excellence. None of that comes easy, it takes hard work, dedication and a background in knowing how to get things done.
The main goal of ESI is to make the preconstruction and construction processes move smoothly. This will also assist the contractor payment process to move as simple and uneventful as possible. This process, while intellectually simple, requires more diligence, as well as specific but simple planning.
From small procedures, (i.e. requiring that any components or procedures not that are specified be pointed out in any and all submittals) to larger tasks such as Plan Review (link), change orders have not only been avoided, projects have been completed on time and in budget. These processes eliminate confusion (who is responsible for what) and demands everyone work together to get the job completed and finished correctly.
Preconstruction meetings are vital, but are normally more productive when everyone involved in the project are onsite, including engineers, project managers, owners, inspectors, contractors and subcontractors as well as manufacturer reps. Review of the plans and specifications as well as prepared questions before the meeting keep things moving in the right direction without costly delays. Solutions to questions are often provided following this format, before the meeting adjourns so no time is lost. Settings such as described above have not only been very successful, but have been very well received by owners and contractors alike. During this meeting a complete contact list is created and provided to everyone. This meeting is followed by a site meeting where all aspects of the work process are discussed.
Our focus is to not only give the owners what they intended on receiving and needed, but to keep all aspects of the job running as smoothly as possible including payments to contractors and vendors. True team efforts are less costly from most every aspect.
Call for a system evaluation or inspection. Let us show you how we can save capital costs.
